From the moment he first gripped a handlebar at five years old, Kevin Sánchez discovered that cycling was more than a pastime—it was identity. Guided by his father in those early rides, he built a connection to the bike rooted in balance, discipline, and purpose. By the age of ten, he was already competing in Spanish BMX championships, marking the beginning of a career defined by resilience and progression.
Kevin developed his passion and skills on the BMX track
Over the years, Kevin rose steadily through the ranks of BMX competition in Spain, earning multiple national championship titles. His defining milestone came in 2015, when he finished third in the world in his category at just 23 years old. That podium result represented years of technical refinement, mental strength, and relentless consistency. It confirmed his place among the sport’s elite while reinforcing that true performance is built over time.
Achievements: Precision, Progression, Purpose
Kevin’s competitive journey accelerated quickly. Competing nationally from a young age, he demonstrated sharp race intelligence and explosive control—qualities essential in BMX, where fractions of seconds define outcomes. His repeated success as Spanish Champion solidified his national reputation, while his world podium finish marked international recognition.
Kevin’s dedication and skill brought him to international BMX and MTB competitions.
Yet his story extends beyond results.
At sixteen, Kevin began coaching younger riders, translating personal experience into mentorship. What started as BMX instruction gradually expanded into MTB (mountain biking) technique training. Over time, he mastered not only sprint formats and jump lines, but also terrain reading, endurance pacing, and technical descent control.
Today, Kevin is a professional MTB and BMX technique instructor, training more than 300 students annually across Spain. His programs emphasize confidence, body awareness, and sustainable development. Through initiatives such as the Liga LBR Pumptrack, he fosters structured environments where riders of all levels refine skill and character.
Alongside coaching, Kevin has cultivated a growing digital presence across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. With more than 36,000 followers and over 12 million annual views, he shares the authentic side of cycling—progress, setbacks, crashes, recovery—presenting the sport as a genuine journey rather than a curated highlight reel.
Training with Intention
Behind Kevin’s explosive BMX starts and fluid MTB descents lies a disciplined training philosophy. His weekly routine balances three outdoor MTB sessions focused on technique, endurance, and speed with structured preparation and recovery.
Preparation begins before the trail. A controlled warm-up on a stationary bike activates stabilizing muscles and prepares joints for the unpredictable demands of off-road terrain, reducing injury risk and sharpening neuromuscular response.
On non-trail days, Kevin maintains conditioning with 45-minute indoor sessions on the YESOUL G1M PLUS bike. These rides focus on cardiovascular endurance, cadence control, and sustained power—essential components for race starts and technical sections. The indoor environment removes external variables, allowing precise attention to rhythm and pedal efficiency while supporting recovery.
In addition to cycling sessions, Kevin incorporates the YESOUL Rowing Machine into his weekly training routine to develop full-body strength and coordination. Unlike cycling, rowing engages both upper and lower body simultaneously, making it a highly efficient complement to his discipline.
As Kevin explains: “The rowing machine activates my entire body and keeps me focused on days when I’m not riding outdoors.”
These rowing sessions help reinforce core stability, improve posture, and build balanced muscular endurance—key factors for maintaining control during technical MTB descents and explosive BMX efforts.
Indoor sessions on the YESOUL G1M PLUS keep Kevin strong and consistent.
This integration of indoor and outdoor work reflects experience. Earlier in his career, volume alone defined progress. Over time, Kevin recognized that longevity depends on structure, recovery, and consistency. Indoor preparation is not a substitute for the mountain—it is preparation for it.
From Setbacks to Sustainability
BMX and MTB are sports shaped by risk. Falls are inevitable; durability is earned. Kevin’s evolution as an athlete includes learning to manage setbacks through mobility work, structured conditioning, and intentional recovery. The shift from chasing immediate results to building long-term resilience defines his mature approach to performance.
Tools like the YESOUL Rowing Machine also support this transition, offering low-impact, full-body conditioning that allows Kevin to stay active while reducing joint stress during recovery periods.
This perspective aligns with YESOUL’s philosophy: fitness as a sustainable practice integrated into daily life. Equipment becomes a tool that supports discipline and balance, always centered on the athlete’s real needs.
Community and Continuity
Beyond medals, Kevin’s greatest impact lies in the riders he mentors. Each year, hundreds of students gain technical confidence under his guidance, discovering that progress comes through repetition and patience. His events unite cycling communities across Spain, reinforcing the sport as both individual pursuit and shared culture.
For Kevin, cycling has never been solely about speed. It represents growth—physical, technical, and personal. His journey from a five-year-old beginner to world podium finisher and respected mentor illustrates that lasting success is measured not only by trophies, but by transformation.
Train with intention. Stay consistent. Build strength that endures beyond the race.
With the right mindset—and the right support—every rider can keep moving forward, on and off the trail.
