I hate walmart
The motion is a little awkward. Hard to know what to do with your arms if you want to just move your feet for a little bit. But definitely a workout. Really tones up your arms and behind very quickly.
I have only used it a few times. I fine that it is a good workout I¡¯m 5¡¯2 and can adjust it easily for my height or my 6 foot husband height.
Great workout after lifting. Very smooth machine
easy to put together, definitely a good work out, it was good investment so far
I use it 3x a week, so far, it really gives a workout. It is a little louder in motion than I expected. Very easy to assemble. I like the stretching my hips and back get.
A good work out. Feels a bit unstable. Not super easy to put together.
It is ok for use
It arrived with a cracked center "console". Disappointing, but it doesn't keep the device from working.
I've tried it and was initially surprised by lack of resistance provided to my legs.
Further experimentation suggests that the leg or arm resistance is controlled by the amount of "hanging" you do with your hands/arms.
My next climber will probably have a resistance control.
My initial reaction is that it's worth the money. (But it wouldn't hurt for it to arrive intact.)

Just what I was looking for. Easy to assemble and great workout!
I ordered this climber because, well, it was less expensive than some other workout machines. I used to have an elliptical but threw it out several years ago during a move. I wanted another elliptical but they were more expensive so I went "cheap" and ordered this climber. Overall, I have positive things to say about it. It is fairly inexpensive, was easy to put together, and doesn't take up a lot of room. It is also very tiring. The first night I used it, I could barely do it for five minutes! So, it will give you a workout. My negative comments are -- it's very tiring! Hahaha! I guess I thought it would be easier and require less effort (I suppose I'm simply lazy). In all seriousness, the only negative comment I have is that it makes a "clunking" sound after using it for a while. Not only can I hear it, I can feel it as well. At first, I thought something was caught in it only to find nothing there. I'm not sure what the noise is but it is a bit annoying.
I love the mobility of it
I've had this machine for about two weeks now, and I really like it overall.
Easy to assemble, and also easy to fold up for storage. It's fairly light, and I have no problem moving it around.
It's a good workout- I'm at a decent fitness level, but right now I can only sustain about 2 minute reps. It works the quads the most, but engages both upper and lower body and core. Twice a week use for only two weeks has already improved my distance runs- both speed and endurance. I've found that you can also sort of adjust what muscle group your are working if you slightly change posture, arm position, or handle length. But your quads will always be engaged.
It's quiet and appears to be holding up. I was a bit worried based on 1 star comments about degradation of the pulley system, but haven't noticed any apparent damage with use on mine. I've been mounting as described on one of the commenter's videos, where you grab one of the arms first and jump up on the opposite pedal, but I'm not sure this is necessary. The movement is smooth.
I've noticed that the price fluctuates a lot on Yesoul, but for around $150, I thought it was a really good deal.
I'm 5'8" and with the handles extended to the highest setting, the machine is just a hair shy of my full range of motion. It's still a very comfortable workout for me, but someone taller will be limited on their range of motion.
The placement of the timer and rep counter does not allow you to view it during use.
I've found that I need to splay my knees off to the side a bit so that they don't bump the middle of the machine during use.
Trying to improve my range of motion and build my stamina. So far, although tough for me, 62 years old smoker and out of shape but I already have seen improvement in my stamina!
This is great product for a quick workout.
It¡¯s a great machine however you¡¯ll need to do other exercises along with it to really see a difference and to lessen boredom. Speaking solely for myself it¡¯s get a bit redundant. So use it yes , along with other exercises and you¡¯re good to go . Happy fitness day to all
Works great, but nylon rollers began to shred after three months
It¡¯s super easy to assemble. I¡¯m a girl with almost no tools and loved the fact that it came with the needed wrench. Only thing that worries me is how flimsy it seems. I may be wrong but we¡¯ll see I guess. The safety clip on the bottom is pretty easy to remove so I¡¯m also worried that it may wiggle its way off during a workout. It¡¯s a tall machine but fits fine. Very compact.
It works if u use it regularly, it is hard core . U get tired, but after a wile u be able to do more min ,
It works as described
I'm happy with it, but I wish it was able to adjusted it.
Okay, I review everything I buy and I will be honest with you. Myself and my twelve year old daughter use this machine every other day. We do five minute intervals for twenty minutes. After three minutes on this machine you will begin sweating. It works arms, legs and core. You can break it down easily and slide it under your couch. We keep it in a corner when not in use. This machine to me is a good total body workout. If not, start doing pushups or put your feet under the couch and knock out some sit ups and jump rope and jumping jacks. Honestly, this machine will feel like you did all these exercises. No one will change you except yourself. Don't just take a chance on this machine, take a chance on yourself. This machine will help you do it.
Item was shipped and delivered as advertised. Assembly took less than 15 minutes.
Easy to assemble
This is a great product, be advised it is not easy to use at first! You need to keep using it daily to build the strength up to be able to do it for longer periods of time. But this product works great I bought it for my mother and she has been seeing results.
Pro: This machine is excellent for a quick cardio workout. Really burns the legs and I don¡¯t have to be on it for more than 10 min as long as I¡¯m going as fast as possible (HIIT) the app they offer is also a plus.
Cons: After several uses it started making a really loud sound when I use the mid handles. I am still trying to figure out how to make it quiet again.
Easy to assemble and move around your house or apartment. If this is used correctly with a proper diet it will work. I was impressed with the sweat I worked up in just 10 minutes on it. The only thing that concerns me is the cheap plastic pulley and rollers it uses. I understand why they used cheap materials to keep cost low but I'm highly skeptical it will hold up to me and my wife using it a few days a week. It definitely isn't commercial grade equipment but for the price it can't be beat.
Best total body for at home
Initially received Yesoul Climber and the one metal arm bar was damaged. This was returned and replacement was received quickly and was not damaged. Easy to assemble and easy to use. Love the fact that it takes up minimal space. I will provide an update in 30-60 days of use to let you know if I was able to see any results from using Yesoul Climber and how the machine holds up to daily use.
I like the YesoulClimber because it gives you a full body workout, it's taking me some time to get use to it because I can only do it for two minutes because it gives you good burnout, it's not easy, my legs is not strong so that's where I feel the burn first. The only reason I gave it a four star because I have not been using it on a regular basis, but my husband and son loves it. A most buy!
I actually found mine by my apartment dumpster and it was brand new. I checked it over and cleaned it, oiled it etc. Im in good shape and my legs are on fire after 10 minutes. If you go for 40 you are set for the day. I use it for 20 to offset my kettlebell workout and rowing machine.
My only con is the pedals are hard to use barefoot or in shoes after a while. I wish they were a little bigger.
I just got this a few days ago, so I can't say a lot yet, but I will try to update later. It is very lightweight. It was very easy to put together; I did it by myself in less than 15 minutes. So far it seems very sturdy. I am just barely under the weight limit, but this works great for me. It doesn't seem wobbly or flimsy at all. I have found one negative; if you have short legs and a bad knee like I do it is a bit of a challenge to get on this machine. To get on one pedal goes all the way down and the other goes all the way up. This makes getting on challenging. However once I get on it is fine. You can take as big or small of steps as you want to. I have to be careful not to take a big step or It hurts my bad knee. I can only work out on this for a minute or 2 at a time, but it feels like a good workout.
The climber works as expected. After a year I needed some replacement parts and the seller was very kind to send them for free. Now it is good as new
Gives you a good workout on the legs.
Due to COVID my gym closed, so I wanted to buy something for home. But I wanted it to fit in a small space, and I of course wanted to get some exercise. And I didn't want to spend that much money. For those reasons, this unit works. I use it 3x per week, 30 minutes a time. It has held up well over the past ~3 months. It's not like using a professional unit at the gym, not at all. But I do feel like I burn some calories, I work up a bit of a sweat, etc. The resistance is your own weight - if you push down on one leg, the other goes up. I'm 5' 9", 150 lbs, and this works for me. The handles are OK. I don't use the readouts on the UI. I just use a timer.
My only real complaints:
1) My knees sometimes hit the center post. I need to widen my stance a bit to insure this does not happen. If the foot rests/pedals were a bit longer, this would not happen.
2) The bars do block the direct center view in front of you. So if you are like me and watch TV while working out, you need to get used to the bars moving in and out of your vision straight ahead. There's nowhere else for the bars to go, so you just have to get used to it. Or just kind of look to the side or a bit off center, and you're fine.
This was easy to set up and works as described...just need to use it!
I use it everyday. So effective saw the difference of my Body. Thank for this equipment so useful.

Me encanta lo uso todos los d¨ªas y m¨¢s ahora que no se puede ir al gymnasio
Lisa Kay Johnson
I gave this 4 stars because I just wish it were heavier for more stability. It¡¯s very easy to use, easy to set up and I feel it everywhere. I¡¯m very happy with this purchase.
I love this machine, it's tough but it burns those calories. It keeps track of how many steps and calories you burn, it even pauses when you stop for a break or whatnot. So if you took 30 minutes with breaks, it will tell show you the real time of 20 minutes, etc. This is a feature I enjoy.
I also love that it's foldable so I put it behind my bedroom door and can move it and use it any time.
The one thing I don't like about this machine is it's pedals. I am 5'1 female with a shoe size of 6.5 / 7 and the pedals are little uncomfortable/ too small to be stepping on it for a long period of time. Maybe they can be switched to different ones, I am not sure.
I bought this item because my knees won¡¯t take daily runs anymore. It is a very good cardio workout and keeps my legs in shape. The only caveat is that it¡¯s not quite as easy to assemble as we are led to believe. But it works great and is a good fit with beginner to intermediate workouts. And for older folks like me.
Muscles that never hurt before now hurt! Great work out!
Matthew S Colwell
Easy to assemble. So far, works very well. Within a minute my legs were on fire. I have back issues and this seems to help loosen up my muscles. (Consult your Dr if you have issues)
Has helped lose some weight. Wish it had some videos with it though. It¡¯s a tough workout and I¡¯d say don¡¯t do more then 5 minutes your first time and avoid eating at least an hour before
This exercise equipment is easy to assemble.
F¨¢cil de montar, en realidad es muy buena
I bought this two years ago when I hurt my foot and wasn't able to run for almost two months. I used it for low impact training that would allow me sustain my cardio and two months later I was able to run almost at my normal pace!
Two years and over 3000 steps later and not a thing has broken on it.
3000 may not seem like a lot but keep in mind it is almost a full body workout for however long you decide to go and only 10 minutes burns 100 calories easily (per built in counter and my Garmin watch).
Only annoying thing is the counter is below waist level so if I want to check progress mid workout I have to get off. However this was a minimal issue bc I only really check early on to see how well ot tracked. Now I just look at the end of whatever time I complete, so no issues.
If it were to randomly break after posting this I would still buy again. It has been a great machine that I have been able to use as either a warm up, end of workout pump, or a workout by itslef!
I bought mine for $50 when Sears closed their doors here. I thought it was more Chinese junk but durable enough for my very athletic wife.
She complained of balancing issues. I watched the intensity of her workout then tried it myself at a much slower pace. It works fine if you aren¡¯t trying to race the clock but it will tip over unless you have good balance or if you throw caution to the wind. Now I warm up with it every morning. Ten to fifteen minutes and I¡¯m ready for my workout. This isometric climber offers no resistance, it is not indestructible but resilient enough to use daily for three or four years now. The rubber/foam handles are still going strong. I recommend anchoring the base to avoid tipping or falling over. Please see the attached photo.
This equipment is tall, so if you have ceiling fans, I would be careful with it. Gets the heart rate up well and works the entire body. The only thing I don't like about it is the bulky panel in the center. Forces me to rotate my legs outward to avoid hitting it, which means I am working different muscles.
It sits too close to the face
Very easy to assemble, very good workout just don¡¯t like the pedals
I have owned a Verticlimber since June 2020. I have been using it consistently throughout the past three years. In 2023, I have been using it daily.
What I like:
- Well, I enjoy working out on the Verticlimber. I use it at least 30-60 minutes when I hop on. The intensity of the workout is based on how much effort you want to put in, as it is your body weight that is supporting the resistance anyway. I use this machine contorting my body in all different ways as I workout, to target different muscle groups more, and have only slightly tipped over. It well balanced and can handle really hard workouts if you upkeep with it (such as cleaning the the rollers and metal, lubricating the rollers).
- I appreciate that it can fold up for easy storage. While I normally just keep it open, there are times when the weather is nice outside and I want to take my workout outdoors. It's not a problem with the Verticlimber, and I love to put a long climbing session in when the wind is blowing hard.
- I thought the foam grips might be cheap and not long-lasting when I first purchased the Verticlimber, but they're holding up well and seem suited for gripping I must do to successfully workout. Only one of the foam pads has finally started disintegrating and crumbling. Will just replace the grips with bicycle grips probably.
- It is low impact on your knees and back. I have some slight knee issues and feel no stress on them when using this machine.
What I don't like:
- I don't like how clunky the activity logger on the central part of the machine is. I am 6'0'' and found that my thighs would crash into the plastic casing sometimes when trying to go hard on the machine. I ended up just removing the black plastic case that was mounted to the verticlimber, as my phone can keep the time for me.
- I do not like how wobbly the extended top handles feel sometimes. In certain situations, when gripping the top handles and while working out, the top bars fit inside the connecting base with extra space inside. So if you are pulling down on a stride while climbing, you may hear a clanking sound. This has been happening to my unit since 2023, and I can feel when it happens and try to control it, but when I am exhausted from a tough workout I may not be able to stop the clanking as much as my hands pull down on the handles.
That's it though. The pros of the Verticlimber certainly outweight the cons in my opinion. I was apprehensive of climbing devices when I first started looking for home workout equipment, so settled on this affordable verticlimber. Now, I find myself wanting to use that more than anything else in my house or even going to the gym. I originally though I may want the upgraded version of this unit when mine finally breaks, but why ruin a great experience?
As a newbie I find this machine intense. Heart was pounding so I grabbed a strap on monitor. Only takes 5 min or less for me to hit 139pbm using 220-age formula. I'm also a heart patient..
Super easy to assemble. Folds upright nicely to save space. Balance is good but I'm only 125lb. Heavy ppl may need to focus on their center which is a good practice anyway.
Good purchase for those who struggle with workout discipline..
On a side note I only paid $149 for this machine 12months ago june 2022. Glad I bought it when I did.
Tis machine is great. The only down fall is the battery that comes with it was already installed and dead upon arrival¡ u will definitely need to purchase a battery
I like this product, I¡¯ve used it for a while. For the price it¡¯s tough to beat. It¡¯s fairly lightweight and easily fits into a closet. We keep ours in our living room and it¡¯s nice to be able to fold it away. When I started I couldn¡¯t do even five minutes on it. I¡¯ve since built up to 48, so I¡¯ve come a long way. The only downside is that the resistance is not adjustable, and after a while it started to feel easy, maybe too easy. My heart rate does not get up to 120 anymore, which is my usual goal. I did not take a star from my review because of this, though, because for the price it¡¯s just not reasonable to expect everything, it was less than $200. Overall though I like this thing and I still use it every day. I have had no issues with the sturdiness of the build or anything, I¡¯ve used it A LOT and nothing is loose or broken. If you¡¯re spending a lot of time indoors and you need something to keep you moving, and you don¡¯t have $500 or a grand to spend on a treadmill or a stationary bike, I highly recommend this thing.
This system is a beast great workout compact and super easy to assemble
It was easy to assemble
Overall, the Yesoul-climber is great. I was extremely disappointed, though, that there was a piece of the plastic housing that was broken when I opened the box. The break has left an opening in the housing of approximately 1/2 in. ¡Á 3 in.
I liked the ease of putting it together. It gives me a good workout and I like the stretch it gives my back.
Deceptively hard. Way better alternative to bikes and ellipticals (for low impact cardio) the footprint is perfect for apartments. Only gripe is when you extend down if you aren¡¯t careful you¡¯ll hit the rubber stopper at the bottom and it makes a pretty good boom for the people that live below you.
This machine is awesome!
Easy to assemble, I can feel it working in just a few minutes time. Just got it so can¡¯t tell a difference yet. But easy to use.
Good workout but the handle pad was cracked when I got it. I never bothered to replace it & it still works fine.
Quite a workout - looking forward to toning my legs
A great well thought out climber. I'm an in shape 80 year old and it gives me more than I can handle. But, what a workout. Can't think of better.
This machine is super easy to set up and is a good all-over workout, especially thighs! I can only use it about two minutes at a time because it's exhausting but I am slowly able to increase as I get more fit. I highly recommend the Yesoul-Climber.
I¡¯ve had this since before COVID happened and it¡¯s still working great. My whole family uses it.
I'm 6'2 and 200lbs when I go as hard as I can the machine will wobble sometimes.
Best money I¡¯ve ever spent! Great for a home gym/workout!
I've had this about a week and it's working great. It took about 15 minutes to assemble. I've done 3-10 minute workouts each day for the past week and it gets the heart rate up quick. I think I'm in decent shape since I can run 5K's and ride my bike but my legs and chest were hurting big time the next day after I worked out on this the first time. I'd recommend a torque wrench to tighten the nuts. The wrench included is a bit awkward. It folds up nicely and fits in my closet.
I didn't want to burn calories and had good results with using it slowly for shorter periods of time. It was very easy to set up and store when not in use. I question the durability of the cable over time and many uses.
I got it a couple of weeks ago and it works good. Just three issues.
1. The foot pedals are small like bike pedals so when I do workouts more than 20 mins my feet hurt because of the pressure it puts, so I have to constantly move my feet around to relieve the pressure/pain. I know the more expensive version has the full size pedal so its something I wish I had known before I bought this one.
2. There is no where to put your phone on it, even though there is an app you can use. I bought a bike phone holder and I put that on and it works.
3. The app is so so. You cannot record any progress (you are supposed to be able to) and the 15 min HIIT doesnt open because it cannot download the audio file.
Other than those issues this is a good workout machine. It makes you sweat if you workout on it long enough. Its good for cardio and I feel like it mostly works your legs and shoulders.
I bought this after watching several videos and reading reviews. l workout several days a week at our local gym but l wanted something to use at home when going to the gym is not an option.
The machine arrived quickly and well packaged. It was easy to ensemble.
I started out only doing a few minutes at a time and l am slowly working towards my goal. My legs were sore the next day so l know the machine is working. My legs didn't get sore from working out on the treadmill even with a steep incline.
The machine came with a recipe booklet which included several smoothie, salad, soup and main dishes. It also included a 21 day challenge.
The only thing l am not sure about, is the calorie counter. l do not believe it to be accurate, in my opinion.
Overall, lam very pleased with the machine.
Stepping distance between the peddles is large and may be a little difficult for shorter legs
Not as nice as the $3,500 version at the ymca. But it is just as effective and I don¡¯t have to wait in line to get on it
I love this investment i made for myself. Only took 2 days to arrive. Real easy to put together. Very sturdy and you can feel the Burn. Ready for this Journey with my New Investment
Love it definitely worth it works all parts of my body
I love this machine. It gives me more cardio than my HIIT workouts without the impact on my knees. You will get an excellent workout with this even if you only use it for 15 minutes a day. I highly recommend.
I have used my Yesoul climber since the beginning of the pandemic. I have read a lot of reviews about the plastic wheels on the bottom of the foot pedals breaking after a short time. To avoid this, I use Finish Line Dry bike chain lubricant that comes in a spray can. This particular product may not be ideal for everyone but my whole point is to use a lubricant. I use the Yesoul climber and lift weights in a large barn with no hear or air conditioning. I use the Yesoul climber 5 to 6 days a week, every week for 3 years and going strong. Before every use, I spray a tiny bit of lubricant on the plastic wheels. Over time, this has led to a white waxy type buildup on the wheels. So much that I really don't need to add lubricant each time before usage but I do anyways. I have never had any issues and the wheels are just fine. The downside, if you are in your house on a carpet or floor you don't want to mess up, the excess lubricant will drip down right after you apply it. So you would want to place something underneath the climber to absorb the excess without compromising the balance of the climber or find a better lubricant for your needs. The lubricant will eventually attract dirt and grime, but you can take the wheels off and clean them. I never have, as I work out on a concrete floor in a barn built in 1889 so I'm not concerned, plus the climber is less than 200 bucks, far cheaper to repair or replace than the more expensive versa climber. Consistent heat via friction is terrible for plastic, which is what occurs when using the climber. Lube the wheels, save yourself time and money on replacing them.

Was easy to assemble, and it has held up for three years now. I truly am glad I bought this piece of equipment!!
I only last on it for ten mins top but it gives my workouts a good variety.
The machine was easy to assemble. I am able to get a good workout on it. It covers a good range of motion. I¡¯m able to get my heart rate up.
Easy to put together but tends to tip. Added cinder block on top of back legs solved problem.
This machine has been awesome so far! You definitely feel the burn. Great for beginners who want to start back working out.
A very great full body work machine. Very easy to put together. Great space saver for small places. Very inexpensive, not like other expensive vertical climb machines. Very sturdy well constructed machine for the money.
It¡¯s easy to assemble and maneuvering too.
Works great! Except that the calories burned count I don¡¯t think is accurate for example when you excersise for 30 secs it says that you burned like 15 calories i don¡¯t know if it¡¯s true or not so I wouldn¡¯t go by what it says. Other than that it works like it should and you can feel the burn!
It's great for what I wanted. I can easily jump on and get a lot of exercise or a little - but I will get my blood moving, my legs, hips and arms moving. I have MS and when I can't get out and have been in bed for days - once I start moving again - it's great. I force myself to do just use it moderately. You can focus on your legs and hips, or arms based on movement - extension of legs or arms - or hips. So it does exactly what I want. Easy stretching or break a sweat workout. I can also use it just to stretch my arms in a way I can't on the floor.
This machine is everything and some. Great cardio, range of motion, upper and lower body workout. The only complaint I have are the pedals after 5 minutes they are not comfortable and the foot starts to slip as well. I see you have actually full footage on the XL but may want to think of something for the lower level one as well. I have purchased 3 one for home the other at my gym. I would love to get another for my mother but you went up on the price $25 which is a lot.
This little climber will burn your fat in a second.
Easy to assemble, and it comes with a very helpful recipe book.
You can¡¯t change the settings, but it¡¯s easy to take large or small, fast or small steps.
